Understand the protection a share provides before uploading sensitive data. We describe the current controls and their limits in plain language.
Production is configured to use TLS while files travel over the network. At-rest encryption depends on the deployed storage provider and must be verified by the operator. This is not client-side, user-held-key encryption.
The service processes file metadata and controls storage access. Do not upload data that requires a zero-knowledge or client-held-key architecture.
Add password protection to individual links and use expiration dates to reduce how long a share remains available.
The application uses managed hosting and object storage. Current controls and limitations are documented without implying third-party certifications apply to the application itself.
