Mirror and flip images
Front-camera selfies, scanned transparencies, and graphics that face the wrong way all need a mirror flip. This tool reverses the pixels left-to-right or top-to-bottom without changing anything else.
How to use this tool
- 1Add one or more images.
- 2Choose a horizontal mirror, a vertical flip, or both.
- 3Process and download the flipped copies.
Before you download
- Mirroring reverses any text in the image. Check logos and signs before using the result.
- Flipping both horizontally and vertically equals a 180° rotation.
- PNG is the default so transparent graphics stay transparent.
Typical uses
- Correcting mirrored selfies and webcam captures.
- Creating a facing pair of graphics for a layout.
- Fixing a scan loaded face-down.
- Accepts
- JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF
- Produces
- PNG, JPG, WebP
Your images stay on your device
This page processes images with your browser's canvas. Files are not uploaded to FileShareFast or anyone else, and your originals are never modified. Sharing is a separate, deliberate step: nothing is sent until you continue to the upload page and create a link yourself.
Re-encoding writes pixel data only, so EXIF and other metadata are not copied into outputs. Animated images are processed from their first frame. Check important images before submitting or printing them.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between mirror and rotate?
A mirror reflects the image like a mirror would: left becomes right. Rotation turns the whole picture around its centre. A selfie that looks 'wrong' usually needs a mirror, not a rotation.
Why does my selfie look different mirrored?
Front cameras preview a mirrored image but often save the true view. Mirroring the saved photo returns it to the familiar reflection you saw while taking it.
Does flipping change file size or quality?
Pixel count is unchanged. Lossy formats re-encode at the chosen quality; PNG keeps every pixel value exactly.
