Round image corners
Rounded corners soften app icons, cards, and profile images. Choose a radius as a percentage of the shorter side, up to a complete circle, and export with transparent corners so the image sits cleanly on any background.
How to use this tool
- 1Add your images and drag the radius slider; 50% on a square image makes a circle.
- 2Keep the background empty for transparent corners, or choose a colour to fill them.
- 3Process and download as PNG or WebP to keep the transparency.
Before you download
- Combine a 1:1 crop with a 50% radius to make a perfect circular avatar.
- JPG cannot store transparency, so corners are filled with the background colour (white by default) when JPG is selected.
- For icons, apply the radius to the final pixel size so the curve stays smooth.
Typical uses
- Circular profile pictures for forums and bios.
- Rounded screenshots for documentation and slides.
- Softened product thumbnails for a storefront.
- Accepts
- JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF
- Produces
- PNG, WebP (transparent corners); JPG (filled corners)
Your images stay on your device
This page processes images with your browser's canvas. Files are not uploaded to FileShareFast or anyone else, and your originals are never modified. Sharing is a separate, deliberate step: nothing is sent until you continue to the upload page and create a link yourself.
Re-encoding writes pixel data only, so EXIF and other metadata are not copied into outputs. Animated images are processed from their first frame. Check important images before submitting or printing them.
Frequently asked questions
Why are the corners white instead of transparent?
You probably selected JPG, which has no alpha channel, or set a background colour. Choose PNG or WebP and leave the background empty to get transparent corners.
How is the radius calculated?
As a percentage of the shorter side of the output. 10% on a 400 × 300 image gives a 30-pixel radius; 50% rounds the shorter side completely and produces a circle on a square image.
Can I round only some corners?
Not yet. All four corners receive the same radius, which covers avatars, cards, and icons. Per-corner control is on the roadmap.
